Let’s start with the one I get asked the most:
Why teabags? I really don’t have a final answer for that one. I have always liked to recycle/repurpose objects, I have drawn and painted and designed since I was tiny (art really is my life), and yes, I do love a nice cup of tea! I was partially inspired by working with Jennifer Collier. Moving to Shrewsbury really gave my creative side a boost, and having so many independent cafes and shops to visit – well, it would be rude not to wouldn’t it?!
How big are the paintings? Each teabags design is usually 6.5cm by 7.5cm. Some are fractionally larger/smaller. They are presented in a small A5 frame (approx 15cm by 21cm unless stated).
How much do they cost? Each teabag design (in a frame) is priced in the shop area of the website, but I have occasionally done larger commissions which would be priced dependent on the size, time required to complete and intricacy of the image.
How do I buy more than one copy of the same image?
Each painting is unique – however, reproductions can be commissioned, but will obviously take time – please contact me directly to discuss further.
How long will my order take to ship?
Orders in stock will be shipped within 1 week of ordering (although it can get very busy in the run up to Christmas). Delivery is usually 2-3 days from shipment).
Commissions and back orders are dependent on the nature of the order.
How can I pay for the painting?
Payments are via PayPal.
